Gilwell Park is at a crossroads in its history. More young people than ever before are being helped to prepare for adult life. But whilst it is recognised as a beacon for the training and nurturing of young people, its accommodation and other facilities have not been developed and enhanced at the same rate.

For too long, Gilwell Park has succeeded in fulfilling its ambitious programme of training and adventure by relying on the extraordinary goodwill and ingenuity of its volunteers and professional staff. This amazing resource now needs to be supported and augmented by modern facilities and accommodation.

The Gilwell Park development is a challenging project and already has some successes with two new accommodation lodges, the Lid extension & refit and new indoor and outdoor activities. There is still a way to go but we are determined to raise more money and to do that we are going to need all the support we can get.
