The central area of the lodge has a main hall for dining, games and activities and a semi-commercial kitchen and store as well as a drying room for all the wet muddy clothes. The emphasis of the design has been on providing good quality durable accommodation, which is easy and cost effective to manage and maintain. One other lodge will be built to a similar design and all the lodges use as much natural light as possible provided by numerous windows and skylights.
