The first Gilwell Park e-newslatter

The first e-newsletter has been sent and what a fantastic response we have received. It achieved an impressive unique opening rate of over 93% with many Wood Badgers responding to the topics we included.

Numerous suggestions have been submitted to name the next e-newsletter and due to the overwhelming response we will be changing the name for each issue. Here are some of the suggestions:

• The Kudu Calls
• Woodtalk
• Gilwell Communique
• Out of the Woods

As you can see there are some great names and we will let you know who has named each e-newsletter. We even had a request that Wood Smoke be used again - thank you for agreeing with us on that name.

To make sure you receive the e-newsletter in the future you must register your details on the website. Make sure you also update your profile after you have registered and share your name and Wood Badge course details with others. You can then search in the user directory for other Wood Badgers from around the world.

Don't forget to let us know of your Wood Badge stories. We are interested in sharing stories around the world to let other Wood Badgers know what is happening. Email them to us along with your contact details incase we need to check any facts.
