Booking a tour
Would you like a tour of Gilwell Park?

We would be happy to guide you around Gilwell Park and explain some of the history of the site and present the future of Gilwell by revealing the new and planned developments.

Please read everything below before completing the booking form to decide which tour and other options you would like.

Full tour – about 1.5 hours:

Tour of White House - You will be able to view the original Carlos paintings and other special features of the house.

Tour of grounds - You will be able to see the Training Ground, Buffalo Lawn, views across London from The Quick and various buildings both old and new.

Activity Centre - You will see the new activities installed at Gilwell Park over the last couple of years, the Camp Square and the new development plans.

Tour of Grounds – about 1 hour:

White House tour – about 30 minutes:

Tour of White House - You will be able to view the original Carlos paintings and other special features of the house.

Shop

The shop on the camp square can be opened for you at the end of your tour depending upon staff availability. Please confirm on the booking form if you would like the shop open to purchase any Gilwell Park souvenirs.

Refreshments

Refreshments can also be made available for you at a small charge:

Tea/coffee and biscuits - £2 per person
Hot lunch - £8.50 per person (weekdays only, max 20 people)
Packed lunch - £6.50 per person (weekdays only)

These would need to be paid for in advance and will not be available without pre-booking. Again, please confirm this on the booking form and we will contact you for payment.

Tour Fee

Although there is no fee for a tour we would be happy to accept a donation towards the development of Gilwell Park.
