Would you like a tour of Gilwell Park?

Explore in detail the best Gilwell Park has to offer with a fascinating and insightful audio tour of the White House and The Estate.

There is no need to book a tour, simply arrive when best suits you and pick up an audio headset from Reception.

With over 50 areas spoken about, the tour will bring alive the history and the home of Scouting. Each tour reveals the history of the site and present the future of Gilwell by revealing the new and planned dvelopments.

Please read below to see what the audio tour has to offer.

  • Tour of White House - You will be able to view the original Carlos paintings and other special features of the house.

  • Tour of grounds - You will be able to see the Training Ground, Buffalo Lawn, views across London from The Quick and various buildings both old and new.
  • Activity Centre - You will see the new activities installed at Gilwell Park over the last couple of years, the Camp Square and the new development plans.

Shop

The Providore on camp square is open between 12.30pm-1.30pm throughout the week. Please remember these times if you would like to purchase any Gilwell Park souvenirs. It may be open for more hours depending on staff availability.

Tour Fee

Although there is no fee for the audio tour we would be happy to accept a donation towards the development of Gilwell Park.
